Lori- Qashqa’i mafrash panels, last quarter of the 19th century. Three pieces which together form a complete mafrash. Lush colors and a dynamic array of designs together in one piece: animal figures, botehs and elibelinde designs. This mafrash was possibly made by Lors who were incorporated into the Qashqa’i confederacy and thus may account for its unusual blend of Qashqa’i (botehs) and Lor design elements (animal and human figures). sold
