Navajo Transitional weaving dating to circa 1895. Handspun wool with aniline dyes with the exception of the natural white wool. Dimensions are 84 and 1/2 inches high and 56 and 1/2 inches wide. The unusual aspect of this weaving is that the weaver has made her ''lazy lines'' correspond to the serrated design elements throughout. The aniline dyes have faded to a pleasing contemporary palette.
