Old Indian Rajasthani Wedding Sash Embroidery (boukhani) worn by a groom at his wedding. 51 x 6.5 inches. These types of textiles are made in the Sind/Rajasthan border area by brides and worn by the groom at the wedding. The design is traditional and fairly rigid. The colors are great and the embroidery work is nice in this work that dates from the early 20th century. The sash is in excellent condition.
