Old or Antique Indian Kantha Embroidery. Fine small old Kantha Embroidery coverlet that was may have once been used to wrap a gift or folded to form a small bag, 11 x 16inches. The West Bengal region of India is known for its fine Kantha work made from cotton cloth that is quilted and embroidered with cotton thread and running stitch. Nice kinetic pinwheels, dazzling for the eyes. This is a very nice early 20th century embroidery in red, black, and white floss. In very good condition that will please its new owner.
