Old turkoman Yomud torba with good design and nice old colors but in poor condition with very, very low pile. Nice ivory border with an unusually delicate design. Mostly very low pile with heavy center wear exposing a fair amount of foundation. Some slight damage to the bare foundation spots. Selvages not original, slight loss all around. All good old natural colors with rich greens, strong reds, a beautiful old apricot orange and strong yellow highlights. Thin, with a nice blanket like handle. Reasonably clean. Good age, 1880 or earlier. 18" x 36"
