shahsavan stripe kelim, South Caucasus, circa 1890 Size: 9'9" x 6'4" Condition / Description: This is a good antique Shahsavan stripe kelim with original ends and edges. There are two or three half dollar size reweaves of small holes. It has deeply saturated mustard yellow, red, blues and black. It is a powerful example of a simple ancient design expression that remains powerful and contemporary in the modern world.
