Shahsavan antique rug from Mogan Savalan area in Northern Caucasus. Size is cm 115x240. Datable 1840/1860, one of the oldest rugs from here. The pattern has got 16 Memling Gul medallions in two rows an 8 kind of half such medallions in an also vertical row. Colors are all natural and deeply saturated. They are really many and extremely beautiful. In very good condition. In the past it had some minor restorations.  Obviously not cheap, but, those who know will understand and enjoy it.
