Antique Malatya kilim strip. Size is cm 75x395 or 2'8"x11'2" ca. Age is first quarter 19th century. Colors are simply wonderful: indigo, green, madder, cochineal, aubergine, etc....all fantastic. Some brown must have been added in the past in order to reinforce two weak areas. Both sides have been used, but, the original back has got, obviously, much stronger colors.
