Splendid octagonal agate micro inscribed Agate with 99 name of Ismaa e Husna (names of Allah) in small Grid, "Ayat ul Kursi " "Verse of Throne" in tiny Naskh script, in middle and with Sura e Ahad in bold on outer most parameters.
in bold Naskh script, inscribed around the parameters of the Amulet.
This cabochon needs a gold frame to be worn as pendant /or can be placed in a "shadow box" for display.
Period: Mughal Mid 17th Century .
Dimension: 3.5 x 3.0 cm.
Provenance: Bought in 1929 by my grand father from Rampur State,British India.
