Back
Aydin Cine kilim. Size is cm 150x360 ca. Second half 19th century. Professionally mounted on black linen. Gorgeous colors. Fantastic deep madder red, great cochineal pink, indigo blue, light yellow,, etc. Very very fine weave. So fine that for a moment we thought it could have been work of the Reyhanli group!! Mounting has been done in an incredibly good way by the the master Hamid in Istanbul,…just see the photo of the back. Please note the unusual outer (fragmented) borders. Without exaggerating we could consider this as a museum level piece. See more pics on my fb page: https://www.facebook.com/TexTribArt/photos/?tab=album&album_id=101543931...
