Museum quality Kuba ntschak Congo. Cm 625x85. Early 2oth c. Exceptional piece. This is a fantastic, in mint condition, raffia ntschak by the Bakuba tribal group in Congo. Extremely long, cm 625x85, extremely fine, extremely beautiful. Early 20th century. Collected in situ by an Italian mining engineer in the 1950s. Made of thousands of small and bigger tassels, tie & dye raffia, great care, etc. It might have taken years to weave such a wonder.
