Malatya/Sinanli saddle bag face. Cm 80x90 ca. Second half 19th century. Eastern Anatolia. The bag is work of the Sinanli tribe who were part of the bigger Reshwani group. Very tight and fine weave. Super thin wool. Incredibly beautiful colors: madder and cochineal red, light and deep indigo blue, green, orange, chestnut. White is cotton.
