Kilim & Sumack big khorjin or bag face
Cm 82x98.
Datable to the end of the 19th c.
Wonderful natural colors.
Madder red, indigo blue, white is wool.
Three main flat weave strips and 4 sumack smaller strips.

You will have a surprise. As i did too. i always was suspicious about the attribution of the seller since he is a very knowledgeable man, but the doubt persisted. And so i started going through my books. And i found out that he was wrong.
This beautiful tribal art (or modern art?) item is a very rare Shahsavan storage bag face.
