Antique Shahsavan Mogan (or Moghan) Savalan pile rug from Southern Caucasus Size is cm 115x240 or ft 3.7x7.8 1840/1860 ca, one of the oldest such rugs from this area. The pattern has got 16 Memling gul medallions within octagons in two rows and 8 half medallions in a vertical row. Colors are all natural and deeply saturated.
