They are a local tradition, woven on simple, traditional looms using undyed Mohair wool from the local Angora goats. After weaving the face of the blanket is brushed with a steel comb to produce a very soft long pile. These blankets make ideal throws for covering furniture or beds, they also make great hangings with their bold graphic design. They can be also used as rugs.
