Back
This saddle bag, also known as a Khorjin, is a fine example of traditional weaving, crafted from top-quality, finely spun wool. The meticulous spinning of the wool has allowed for a notably intricate and detailed design.
Each side of the saddlebag features a prominent Qashqai emblem, expertly woven to occupy a significant portion of the pile area. The four navy blue spandrels are filled with smaller, secondary motifs, surrounded by a variety of floral and geometric patterns arranged with a natural flow.
The back of this saddlebag is woven with a plain kilim, providing a subtle contrast to the more elaborate and detailed front.
All the dyes are natural.
This piece is in mint condition, with all its original closing loops intact. It represents a well-preserved example of its kind, showcasing the craftsmanship involved in its creation.
Material: 100% hand-spun sheep wool
