This antique Qashqai kilim is a striking example of tribal weaving, created with rich, naturally dyed colors that have retained their depth and vibrancy over time.
The main field features a bold deep-red ground, set with three central medallions. Around them, scattered motifs are playfully arranged in a seemingly random yet harmonious composition. In contrast, the border displays a more structured design, with multiple colorful bands culminating in the traditional laleh abbasi motif.
Woven from exceptionally fine, high-quality wool, the kilim reveals the weaver’s skill in its delicate, intricate patterns. The use of premium natural dyes enhances both the beauty and the longevity of this remarkable piece.
Material: 100% hand-spun sheep wool
