What is this?......asked a friend collector. Frankly would not know exactly. Is it heraldic? Iconic? a message? Imho it's from Azerbaijan, north of Baku, Shirwan area, Khyzy most probably. Let's stick to what we see: since I've found, and bought, two such bag faces, it should be a small, festival? khorjin. Size is cm 33x35 ca each bag. Age should be late 19th, early 20th century.
