Shahsavan sumack bag face. Cm 46x48. Probably mid 19th c. Damaged in the lower part, but still beautiful and extremely rare, with great pattern and fantastic dyes. Central Field: The deep indigo blue ground features distinct horizontal rows of stylized, serrated geometric boteh (or paisley) medallions. Each individual boteh is densely filled with intricate geometric motifs featuring varying shades of terracotta red, ivory, and soft blue.Imho a great piece.
