Japanese "Furushiki" cotton cloth used for carrying small objects. Made from three strips of cloth hand stitched together. a "kamon" family crest was drawn in rice paste and the cloth was overdyed in blue and yellow to achieve a pleasant dark green colour, very good condition, from about 1920.
