Eastern Anatolia open cuval. Antique, coarse, sweet wreck. Fantastic, unbeatable colors. a painting, a real tribal masterpiece. Try to go beyond the holes, the tears, etc.....only then you will see a jewel, an explosion of wonderful, saturated dyes dating back to the second half of the 19th century somewhere in Eastern Turkey.......it might be only an antique textile, but most probably it's much, much more to some of us.......
