The Makara Gallery is dedicated to the ancient arts and sculptures of the Himalayas and South Asia, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, India and also South East Asia. The material and artistic culture of village, tribal and rural populations is honoured through a selection of objects replete with poetry, ingenuity, expressiveness and historical and spiritual values.
